Abstract

The study aimed to examine the attachment relationship to parents with girl's social maturation in Bushehr's adolescent's high school students. This research was a descriptive research of correlation type. The statistical population consists of all second high school students in the city of Bushehr who had been studying in the school year of 2013-2014. Sample size was 250 person which was selected with multi-stage cluster sampling. To measure research variables, we use 3 questionnaires of attachment to parents and peers (IPPA-R), Rao's social maturity scale (RSMS). The obtained results were analyzed by the correlation method and stepwise regression analysis. The results showed that there is a significant relationship between the attachment to the mother, attachment to father, and attachment to peers with social maturity. The results of multiple regression analysis showed that attachment to the mother, attachment to father, and attachment to peers is the greatest predictor of girl's social maturity. The significance level of this research is P<0.001
