It is possible that simile and metaphor are among the most methods that show the strength of the author's mind and his ability to create and innovate. In general, the most appropriate way to find the existing relationships between what flows in the writer's chest and what is imprinted in nature; It is reflected through the style of expression. Therefore, the main goal of expressive imagery is to try to prove the relationship or find a way to converge between two parts (real and imaginary) in a feature, state or a combination of them, be it sensory or mental. Muhammad Abdullah Al-Bariki (1980), who is the owner of the Diwan in question, is considered one of the poets of the UAE and one of its flag bearers. This research, relying on the descriptive-analytical method, aims to discuss and examine the methods of expression and the goals that this style is based on in the Diwan (Badat al-Bahr).
