With consideration of harvest index and relationship with grain yield the experiment for locating locus
of genes that control of harvest index in two normal and heat stress condition that used inbred lines
population of wheat recombinant inbred line population that containing 144 recombinant inbred lines
derived from the cross between Kaz (tolerant to heat) and Mantana (heat sensitive) with two parents
and 10 commercial cultivars. The experiment was arranged in rectangular lattice design with two
replications in the normal planting date (15 November) and late planting date (15 December) in the
Shahid Chamran University of Ahvaz. The linkage map using composite interval by 234 primers
microsatellite (SSR) and 267 AFLP loci which covered 20 of wheat chromosomes. Combined analysis
of data on heat stress and non-stress environment showed a significant difference (P?0.01) for harvest
index treat. 6 QTLs in two condition on 2A, 2D, 3D, 3B and 7B chromosomes were located. The
highest R2 for QTL located on 2A chromosome was 10.86 present gained. The fewest distance to the
nearest adjacent marker equivalent 0.005 and 0.02 centiMorgan related for QTLs located on 3D and
2D chromosomes into AfgcCGb and gwm157 markers respectively.
