In this study, various processes employed to separate propylene/propane mixture besides their advantages and disadvantages were survived. Economically comparison of cost estimation among three processes was determined for distillation, vacuum thermal swing adsorption (VTSA), and vacuum pressure swing adsorption (VPSA). Results of this investigation showed that the distillation process had the lowest capital cost. Although vacuum pressure swing adsorption process showed the highest capital cost, its production cost per one kilogram of product was the least.
