Enteromorpha prolifera as green algae were considered for Pb(II) uptake. The effects of initial contact time in several temperature and several initial metal concentrations on the metal uptake were studied. The effects of cooperating parameters including initial Pb(II) concentration (A), Enteromorpha prolifera dose (B), initial pH (C) and temperature (D) of solutions onto biosorption were analysed by response surface methodology. A mathematical function for prediction of biosorption with respect to cooperating parameters was developed.
