Abstract

The structure of the nucleus and the nuclear levels have important role in the nuclear physics. In the nuclear shell model, the nuclear potential is very effective. In last decads, various potentials have been introduced. As the potentials of nuclear shell model becomes more complex and also, have advancement in predicting nuclear levels. However, by complexing, computing has become much more complex. By using computers, it is possible to perform these complex computations. There are various computer codes for calculating the nuclear shell model, among which the OXBASH nuclear shell model code is very useful. This code enables us to calculate the energy levels of light and medium nuclei. This code also has a library containing a set of model spaces and various interactions. In this study, the energy levels of neon, sodium, magnesium and scandium isotopes are investigated by using the OXBASH code. The OXBASH code predicted energy levels so well.
