Abstract

Social issues have always been discussed in urban societies as an important phenomenon, and crime and violence are among these issues. Considering the expansion of urbanization and the prevalence of social insecurity in cities, a solution to increase security is necessary. The aim of the research is to identify the effective factors in the inefficiency of the structure and atmosphere of Niayesh Bushehr town. This research is applied in terms of purpose and analytical in terms of method. The method of collecting data through documentary studies from databases such as; The police department and law enforcement have been obtained. Then, with the help of spss spatial analysis technique, the questionnaires were analyzed and the result was extracted in the form of crime rate table and its factors and effects. The findings of the research show that Niayesh town does not have enough security in dealing with crime and it is necessary to take necessary measures in this regard so that all the classes living in the town can be comfortable. Based on the results obtained from the first statistical test conducted using the one-sample t method, it can be concluded that the level of delinquency and the occurrence of crime and the lack of proper lighting in the neighborhood are the same, and based on the results of the second hypothesis test using the one-variable t method. In this way, it can be said that abandoned lands and buildings harm the security level of Niayesh town.
