Abstract

Background: Development of new synthetic methods using triphenylphosphine and increasing its catalytic activity is one of the important parts of catalyst chemistry research. it includes the design and synthesis of innovative triphenylphosphine derivatives with structural and electronic properties tuned to optimize their performance in specific catalysis processes. The triphenylphosphine organocatalyst also plays a role in the synthesis of acrylates and the Michael addition reaction; which we designed by using this two reactivity for the synthesis of beta thioether ester (alkyl 3-alkyl thiopropanoate). One of the widely used methods for the synthesis of many organic compounds is oxygenation and sulfurization, which means forming bonds between carbon-sulfur and carbon-oxygen. Therefore, many extensive studies have been done in order to provide new methods for forming these bonds. But problems such as poisoning of metal catalysts by sulfur-containing compounds have been a limiting factor in these studies. Esters are one of the important groups of chemical compounds that are used in various industries such as pharmaceuticals, food chemistry and polymers. Esters can be synthesized in the laboratory by different methods using different reagents and substrates. The synthesis of ester from alcohol is one of the important methods of ester synthesis that is used in various chemical industries, and on the other hand, thioether has many chemical and biological advantages that we have achieved two simultaneous goals by combining ester and thioether in one molecule. Aim: Esters have many uses in organic chemistry, industry, biochemistry and pharmaceuticals. On the other hand, compounds containing sulfur such as sulfide (thioether) also have a special place in chemistry. Each of these two groups has its own functions and characteristics, and when we want to use the properties of both, we must have a molecule that has both functional groups. The synthesis of such a molecule has fac
