چکیده

Nowadays with the increase in production and import poor quality and expensive machinery, equipment and electrical appliances to various sectors of the country especially the industrial and residential and the low price of electricity in all sectors especially the agricultural sector, electricity consumption in iran greatly increased. With the increase in electricity consumption and adding new power stations, costs also increased. Add new power stations especially fossil and nuclear power stations creates many problems such as air pollution, massive release of radioactive dust and waste solid waste to the environment. In this study, the model Auto Regressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) and data from the years 1393 to 1347 to used to estimate the electricity demand functions in productive sectors (industrial and agricultural) and unproductive (residential, public, commercial and other uses) countries. To identify factors affecting electricity consumption and their impact can cause planning and policies created to reduce electricity consumption and save.After estimating the electricity demand productive and unproductive sectors it was found that consumers of productive and unproductive sectors, positive and significant relationship in productive and non-manufacturing sectors, the average price of electricity in the unproductive sector negative and significant relationship in unproductive sectors and the value added of productive sectors in productive sectors are significant and positive relationship.Also according to price and income elasticities it was found that electrical energy in productive sectors is an essential commodity and in unproductive sectors, electricity consumption is than the average price inelastic
