Abstract

Due to the increasing consumption of natural gas in the world, the production of its by-products also increases in gas refineries, so with the increase in the production of gas condensate in gas refineries and the energy consumption of this unit, energy analysis and energy audit in these units are essential to find Saving strategies [1], [2]. In this research, at first, the gas condensate stabilization unit of parsian gas refinery as a case study is simulated and then the amount of energy consumption in different sectors is investigated and finally in energy audit by visiting the real site, suggestions for reducing energy consumption are presented. The highest energy wastage in unit is related to air cooler and also in some cases the production of products with RVP below the required level. By visiting the operational site and the central control room, some items were found to reduce energy consumption, which in the results section, appropriate suggestions have been made to improve each of the factors.
