The issue of identity has been and still is one of the important and fundamental issues that presents itself strongly in the scientific arena, as interest in it has increased in recent years, and it has become one of the most rich topics that forced many scientists, philosophers and researchers to preoccupation with the issue of identity in a remarkable way. In various fields of knowledge such as: psychology, sociology, literature, philosophy, culture, and other topics, it is a fluid and mobile phenomenon, with multiple faces and meanings. Despite the apparent simplicity of this term, which some people imagine, it is not limited and is not limited to a comprehensive and restrictive definition, but rather involves a high degree of ambiguity and complexity due to its various connotations and dimensions. Considering that identity has a strong relationship with religion, language, and even history, with great importance in the process of elevating the status of the individual and society, this issue has been a source of inspiration for many poets in their poetic fabric, among them: the Omani engineer and poet Saeed Al-Saqlawi, who spoke highly of this He left a clear literary imprint of identity in its various dimensions in his poetic discourses.
