Abstract

Cyberattacks are a significant threat to the stability and security of power systems. The detection and estimation of cyberattacks are crucial in modern power utilities to prevent grid instability or outages. This paper focuses on the cybersecurity of DC microgrids and proposes a parity-based approach for robust detection of electrical variable instabilities and unidentified disruptions. The suggested approach has a simple design and requires less sophisticated calculations, making it an attractive option for real-time implementation. Simulation tests are conducted to verify the performance of the proposed scheme.
