Abstract
The existence of the Divine Throne is one of the most meaningful and effective teachings of the Quran, which has been an important concern for thinkers and people of knowledge and understanding. The noble verse “And the angel is on its pillars, and He carries the Throne of your Lord above them on that Day eighty” (Haqaha 52) deals with it with a metaphysical concept, and commentators, theologians, and philosophers have examined and searched for this. The purpose of this research is to, in line with the goals of the teachings of the Holy Quran, by examining the true meaning of the Throne, considering the need to understand it in the field of cosmology, theology, and divine teachings, seek to provide a clear answer to some ambiguities such as the idea of simile and sculpture, which believe in the materiality of the Throne and ultimately consider the carrying of the Divine Throne and also the establishment of God on the Throne to be in a material form.
The research method is library and analytical, and the result of the research is that the Divine Throne is a reality of the unseen, abstract, and created world, which is one of the entities that does not need matter and duration in creation, and its existence is not preceded by matter and movement, and as a result, it is not from the world of elements and material things. Therefore, carrying the Throne of God is related to other meanings, such as divine knowledge.
