Abstract

Understanding the "truth of the Throne" has always been a complex and important issue for scientists and people of knowledge and understanding, which is due to the noble verses of the Quran such as: "The Most Gracious is above the Throne" (Taha, 5) and related narrations that explicitly speak of the Throne; therefore, religious thinkers, including commentators and theologians, have investigated and searched for this issue. The aim of the research is to examine the true concept of the Throne, considering the necessity of understanding it in the field of cosmology, theology, and divine knowledge, and to seek a clear answer to some ambiguities such as similar and figurative thinking that exist in this matter. The research method is library and analytical, and the achievement of the research, considering the hadiths of Imam Reza (AS), especially the narration of Khawaja Abasalt from Imam Reza (AS), is that the Divine Throne is not a body, but an independent reality, one of the unseen realities, and at the level of the abstract worlds. The meaning of the reality of the Throne is the place of divine planning, management, and lordship, and the position that is the source of issuing the world's decrees and all divine commands lead to it, and the Throne is also considered divine knowledge.
