Abstract

A variational approach using a new wave function to tt muonic symmetric molecular ion is proposed. This approach requires two terms in the total three body wave function. The energies related to such levels below tµ(1s) + t threshold are calculated with a high accuracy and a short computation time. In our calculations, nuclear motions are decoupled from muonic motions ( adiabatic ), i.e., a total wave functions are assumed. The existence of formation channel depend on the effective Coulomb potential Eg(R), the moving of the nuclei with the radial wave function χJ,v(R) in the electronic orbital space of the muon.
