Abstract

During the recent years, due to the unpredictable global crises, such as Covid-19 pandemic, the demand for the services of home health care Providers (HHC) has considerably increased. In order to maintain the ability and function of HHC centers in the face of such events, it is necessary to explain the resilience drivers well. The main goal of this study was to extract and explain the factors affecting the resilience of home health care providers and to investigate the role of emerging digital technologies in its improvement. For this aim, at first, a comprehensive review of related literature in Scopus and Web of Science databases was made. In addition, 21 experts of HHC providers were interviewed. Then, using grounded theory, factors affecting the resilience of home health care providers were extracted. After identifying the effective factors of HHC providers, the weight of each factor was determined using the Group Grey BWM. Finally, considering the identified factors, the degree of influence of each H4.0 digital technology on the resilience of home health care centers (HHC) was analyzed using Improved Grey relational analysis (IGRA). The results of this study can help managers in further understanding the concept of resilience of HHC providers and selecting and using H4.0 digital technologies in strengthening the resilience of HHC centers.
