Abstract

The corona epidemic has affected the limitations and consequences of married life. These restrictions caused the relationship between the couple to change and the couple had to change their relationship and lifestyle. Therefore, the aim of the current research is the effect of the corona epidemic on marital conflicts, intimate and sexual relationships of couples. The population of this research includes all the women of Kazeroon city. The sample was selected in an accessible manner. The research tools included marital conflict questionnaire, couples' intimacy questionnaire, couple's sexual satisfaction questionnaire, and corona anxiety questionnaire. The obtained results showed that the anxiety of Corona in psychological and social aspects has caused an increase in marital conflicts, a decrease in marital intimacy, and a decrease in the sexual satisfaction of couples. Based on the results, it can be said that the anxiety of Corona has caused the couples to have extensive changes in their relationships in the family by changing the relationships and lifestyle of women.
