Abstract

The method of finite difference method is studied in this thesis to solve the Navier-Stokes equation. The local truncation error and the stability of the finite difference method have been investigated and the relationship between them and convergence has been investigated. Two numerical ideas are used here to solve the Navier-Stokes equation.
