Today, plates are widely used as engineering structures in various industries such as aviation,
shipbuilding, automobile and other industries.
The most important factors in the optimal design and engineering of plate analysis problems,
which are widely used in the industry, are reliability, load and weight bearing capacity,
availability.... Buckling in the elastic-plastic range is one of the phenomena that may occur
during plate loading.
Plates show different behaviors under various loads, among which impact loads are among the
loads applied to the plates that cause their shape to change.
In this research, considering that the issue of sheet buckling is an active research area in the
field of material mechanics, we investigated the deformation and buckling of an aluminum
plate due to impact load using analytical tools such as ABAQUS, which is an elemental
analysis tool in the field of buckling modeling and analysis, using the Newton-Raphson
iteration method to approximate the solution of nonlinear algebraic equations, and finally, we
investigate the occurrence of buckling in the sheet using Budiansky's method.
