Abstract
In this paper, by collecting related articles on materials used in ships and other industrial structures, the aim was to identify the various applications of materials and better understand their properties for different uses in these fields. Various materials such as aluminum and its alloys, nanomaterials, natural fiber composites, carbon fiber, and fiberglass were discussed in depth, and the physical and mechanical properties of each were explained in detail. The paper also explored modern methods to increase the longevity and strength of these materials, focusing on practical applications. For example, the anodizing process for aluminum alloys was described to significantly enhance their lifespan and durability. Additionally, the results showed that combining glass fibers with natural fibers could notably increase the strength and performance of materials. These findings not only apply to the shipbuilding industry but also have wider implications for optimizing marine structures and other industrial applications, ultimately improving their performance, reliability, and long-term durability.
