In this study, to improve the performance of dye-sensitive solar cells, we used Graphene quantum dots decorated electrospun TiO2 nanofibers in the structure of these cells to see its effect.
We checked out 4 different methods for decorating quantum dot graphene on electrospun nanofibers in dye solar cells.
We made the first cell with plain TIO2 nanofiber. We made the second cell with TIO2 nanofiber, which was first decorated with quantum dot graphene and then made into a paste. In the third method, we produced the cell with tio2 nanofiber, which was first made with paste, then decorated with quantum dot graphene. We made the fourth sol with tio2 nanofiber decorated with quantum dot graphene by electrospinning method.
Then they were analyzed using a solar simulator. By comparing all four cells together in terms of efficiency, it was found that the cell method with simple nanofibers had the lowest efficiency and quantum dot graphene decor showed a positive and beneficial effect on cell efficiency.
And finally, among the methods that we chose to decorate quantum dot graphene with tio2 nanofibers in the cell, the spin coating method had the highest efficiency and response.
