Abstract

The type of look and thought of each poet towards his surroundings and the way of communicating with it, as well as the inner feelings and emotions of each poet and the language used are different from each other. The mentioned factors reveal the poetic trajectory of each poet. Language is a social phenomenon and one of the most important social institutions through which the sexual identity of each person is determined. Language is influenced by some social factors such as age, gender, education, social class, etc. The aforementioned factors affect each person's language in a way that can be seen in their works of art. Khalida Frough and Tania Akifi, as two prominent contemporary female poets of Afghanistan, have their own thought and language. Although both poets have used feminine language, but the way of using it is different from each other. Femininity can be seen in the works of both poets, but each of them expressed it in their own style. The method of this research is a descriptive-analytical method that examines the semantic level and the linguistic level (lexical and syntactic level) in the poetry of Khalida Frough and Tania Akifi. The sign of femininity in Khalida Frough's poems is visible in the linguistic and lexical field, but Tania Akifi is sexist in the linguistic field. Many of Tania's words are gender-laden words such as: kiss, hug, virgin, lust... In addition to standard language, people's gender also affects literary language. At the lexical level, the words related to the field of women (the use of household appliances and domestic activities, the use of women's clothing, appearance characteristics), the names of women, the words related to color and flowers have been examined and analyzed, and at the syntactic level according to the theory Dr. Robin Likoff, a prominent American linguist, believes that the speech style of men and women is distinct, even in the most intimate situations.
