Abstract

Background: The role of moral decision-making, moral excitement and moral growth in predicting the adjustment of students with learning disabilities. Aim: Determining the role of moral decision-making, moral excitement and moral growth in the adaptation of students with learning disorders. Methodology: The current research method is correlational.The statistical population of the research consisted of all male and female students with learning disorders in the first and second grades of elementary school in Shiraz city in the academic year of 1400-1401. Through the available sampling method, 103 people completed the research questionnaires, after removing the incomplete samples, finally, the data of people were selected for analysis and review. These students, with the help of their parents, took Sinha and Singh's (1993) compatibility questionnaire, James Rust's moral development test (1972), Thornberg et al.'s moral emotion questionnaire (2016) and Lee, Whitehead and Tominas' moral decision-making questionnaire (2007). replied. Pearson's correlation coefficient and regression test were used to analyze the hypotheses. Conclusions: The results of this research showed that moral decision-making, moral excitement and moral growth play a role in the adaptation of students with learning disabilities. According to the findings of this research, effective steps can be taken in the social, emotional and academic adaptation and ultimately the academic and career advancement of this group of students.
