Abstract

Iranians have paid special attention to the issue of health from the first historical cycles, the medical knowledge of pre-Islamic Iranians was so important that the first doctors were considered as angels. Ancient Iranians considered prevention of disease better than treatment, and considered fighting public health as essential and necessary. After Islam, in the 4th century AH, due to the imposition of the rulers of Al-Boyah and the establishment of a period of relative tranquility, medicine and treatment achieved a significant boom, but the health and treatment after this period lost their speed and development. Gave And many people died annually because of the lack of adequate facilities. Although the Qajar period of Iran entered a new stage, modern medicine with the opening of the Dalpolin began with Mirza Taghi Khan Amir Kabir, and measures such as quarantine and vaccination were carried out, however, the health of the Iranian people was at a low level. In December 1307, Reza Shah took power. In his ambitious plans, he called for the authority and sovereignty of Iran in the Persian Gulf and its ports and islands. During this period, the monitoring of direct quarantine was under Iranian control. With other measures such as training specialist, nurse, midwife, hospitalization, extension of Baldia, and the establishment of several associations, an effective step has been taken to increase the health and health of the Gulf coast, and in particular Bushehr. These actions did not stop in the second Pahlavi era and continued to intensify. After the coup d'état of August 32, Mohammad Reza Shah asserted himself in the comprehensive expansion of the health of the South. During this period, some diseases such as trachoma, tuberculosis, cholera, malaria in the Persian Gulf and Bushehr eradicated.
