Abstract

In this study, 3 supramolecular complexes: [Cu(L)(L')(H2O)2] (1) L = pyridine-2,6- dicarboxylic acid, L '= 2,4-diamino-6-hydroxypyrimidine; [Cu(L)(Im)H2O] (2) L = pyridine 2,6- dicarboxylic acid, Im = Imidazol; [Hg2 (L)2(Cl)2].L'.H2O (3) L = pyridine-2,6- dicarboxylic acid, L '= 2,4-diamino-6-hydroxypyrimidine synthesized with copper (II) and mercury (II) metals with different ligands (imidazole, pyridine-2,6-dicarboxylic acid and 2,4-diamino-6-hydroxypyrimidine) using sonochemical methods and side branch tube. These complexes were examined using infrared spectroscopy, elemental analysis, X-ray diffraction, thermal gravimetric analysis, scanning electron microscopy and transmission electron microscopy. The structures of these complexes were identified by X-ray diffraction. According to the analyzes and studies performed on compound (1), compound (1) is a supramolecule with coordination 6 that is crystallized in a monoclinic crystal system with space group C2/c. By examining the angles and lengths of the bonds around the central atom, and a square bipyramid geometric is proposed for compound (1). Intermolecular and intramolecular interactions in this structure have been investigated. The nanoparticles of this compound have a rod morphology and a particle size of 80-60 nm. Composition (2) is crystallized in the T-clinic system with the spatial group P. By examining the angles and lengths of the bonds around the central atom, the square pyramid geometry is proposed for compound (2). The nanoparticles have a hexagonal morphology with a particle size of 40-50 nm. Five coordinated supramolecular compound (3) is crystallized in a monoclinic crystal system with space group P21/c. By examining the angles and lengths of the bonds around the central atom, the square pyramid geometry is proposed for compound (3). The nanoparticles of this compound have a layer morphology with a particle size of 30-70 nm.
