Introduction

Dr. Nasim Ghanbari got her BA in English language teaching (ELT) from Shiraz University in 2003.Then, she obtained her MA in ELT from Tarbiat Modares University in 2005. In 2012, she defended her PhD dissertation in ELT from the University of Isfahan. She began her career as an assistant professor of ELT in the Department of English Language and Literature at Persian Gulf University in 2013. Before joining the department, she was a lecturer in the Department of Basic Sciences and Foreign Languages at Petroleum University of Technology in Ahvaz, Iran for three years. Her research interests include academic writing, writing assessment, technology in language assessment and psycholinguistic studies. She has also lots of publications in many well-known International journals like Studies in Educational Evaluation, Journal of Psycholinguistics, Language Testing in Asia and TESL-EJ. Along with being an active member of the teaching English language and literature society of Iran (TELLSI), she has also presented in numerous national and international conferences. Moreover, she has supervised more than 20 MA theses to completion up to now.
