Building materials play a significant role in improving the quality of architectural spaces. The research question is what is the relationship between the quality of building materials used in a building and the quality created in the architectural space; in other words, what are the desirable or undesirable qualities of a particular type of building materials in a building? Creates architecture. For this purpose, four examples of old texture houses of Bushehr, which have been left from the Qajar period, have been selected; It made it more acceptable. The purpose of this study was to investigate the characteristics of building materials used in the old texture of Bushehr and how they affect And it affects the quality of the architectural space. The research method is qualitative and is accompanied by the description and analysis of data collected from library studies, field observations and interviews with local experts and informants. Data analysis was also performed by inductive reasoning method in which we first examined the specified case samples and then based on studies and analysis. The data provided the final result. The results showed a two-way relationship and the interaction between the quality of building materials and the quality of the architectural space of houses.
