چکیده

The developments and the political circumstances that have passed through Iraq and the Arab countries have had a clear impact on poets' poetry. The poets were not immune to these events, because they were part of these peoples who were waiting for them to express the status quo. Poet Ahmed Matar is one of the most prominent poets in the field of politics. He depicts the oppressors and the misfortunes of the oppressed and the oppressed and tries to incite them against the ruling authority and to fight against them in order to win their stolen rights from the proud. Ahmed Matar in his poetic work represents a moral and moral obligation to his nation and his people, because he does not belong to a party, class or group, but belongs to an entire nation, expressing the pain of this oppressed and oppressed nation. This research is based on a descriptive-analytical approach that seeks to study the poetic texts and political implications of this poet in portraying the ruler and warning against colonialism and its schemes. This research aims to reflect the image of the ruler in the output of the poet Ahmed Matar, describing him as a dog, donkey, tyrant and traitor. In this study, we concluded that Ahmad Matar's poetry, including satirical poetry, bears general humanitarian issues with different dimensions in politics, economics and sociology. In his poems, he has demonstrated his human pride, which he sees as superior to every tyrannical oppressor and greater than any authority; thus his outlook has become negative for despotic rulers who do not recognize humanity and the dignity of the people.
