In this work thermodynamic consistency test is performed on isothermal P-x data for system containing MEA and water. The CPA equation of state has been used for modeling P-x data. Fugacity coefficients of components and compressibility factor in the liquid phase have been calculated by CPA Eos. Thermodynamic consistency test has been performed by rewriting the Gibbs-Duhem’s equation in term fugacity coefficient and using the area test method. The results show that the P-x data are thermodynamically consistence with acceptable accuracy.
