چکیده

The idea of using a steel shear wall, as a lateral load-resistant system for designing and reinforcing buildings, has attracted the attention of researchers and designers for more than three decades. Firstly, to prevent the topical buckling of the steel shear walls, thick sheets or hardened sheets were used. Then, the idea of using a tensile field of diameter after the buckling of thin steel plates was considered by many researchers. Recent research has shown that the buckling of these plates before the submission of the environmental elements lead to better performance of these systems will be lateral. This leads to the expansion of the use of very low thickness of plates, which leads to the emergence of executive problems and Impressing economic benefits. In order to overcome executive problems and expedite buckling these pages, the idea of using perforated steel plate shear wall was raised. Of course, sometimes due to architectural requirements or non-structural factors, Existence of a holes or opening will be inevitable. Therefore, the behavior of the perforated shear wall and the study of the effective parameters on it is necessary. However, the most suitable method for modeling a perforated steel shear wall is the finite element method. The present paper seeks to provide a method for modeling a perforated steel shear wall by strip method. Therefore, in this research, the selected samples are analyzed in ABAQUS software and once again the same structure is analyzed using the strip model method in SAP software. In this method, the steel shear wall is drawn by reducing the area of the strip which is equivalent hole in the steel structure. The coefficient applied to the area of the bar that is in the area of the hole is small. The results of this study show that the method of the strip model of the base shear is predicted a bit more by the finite element method. Therefore, the strip model is a reliable method in the analysis and design of a perforated and no harde
