Abstract

The present age is full of crises and unforeseen events; one of these crises ‎has been the outbreak and pandemic of the Corona virus, which has ‎transformed all large and advanced societies and organizations, and in many ‎cases has led to the destruction of the existence of organizations. Bushehr ‎cooperatives are no exception to this rule and have been plagued by the ‎spread of the corona virus. Therefore, the aim of this study is to investigate ‎the impact of coronavirus transmission on cooperative businesses in ‎Bushehr province. The statistical population of the present study consists ‎of experts of the General Department of Cooperatives, Labor and Welfare ‎of Bushehr Province as well as experts of cooperatives under the General ‎Department of Cooperatives, Labor and Welfare of Bushehr Province. The ‎present research is applied in terms of purpose and descriptive-survey type. ‎The research was conducted in two stages in a mixed manner. Thus, in the ‎first stage, using scientific sources and reviewing the relevant theoretical ‎foundations, indicators affecting the performance of cooperatives were ‎extracted, and then by forming a focus group and consulting experts, the ‎final indicators were prioritized and finalized by fuzzy method. Then, in the ‎second stage, using the hierarchical analysis technique, the dimensions and ‎indicators affecting the performance of cooperatives in Bushehr province ‎were weighed and ranked. The research tool was a researcher-made ‎questionnaire in both stages after the formation of the focus group. The ‎validity of the questionnaire was confirmed by professors and experts in ‎this field in terms of content. The reliability of the research instrument was ‎also evaluated and confirmed using the adjustment rate. Findings of the ‎research in the first stage showed that out of ‎‏73‏‎ indicators identified from ‎the review of theoretical foundations, ‎‏26‏‎ indicators are of higher weight and ‎importance for entering the second stage.
