Abstract

Ali Al-Hjazi is a committed Lebanese writer who had the mission of promoting stability in the society and stimulating the sense of patriotism and fighting against the Zionist regime and hoping for victory. He is one of the most prominent writers who depicted the story of the 33-day war. This research aims to explain and examine the story elements of the story collection "Shara Jadida Lal Nasr" by Ali Al-Hajjazi and reflect the themes of sustainability in this work. The research method is descriptive-analytical and the method of collecting information is library. Among the most important findings of the research, it can be pointed out that the basic pillar of the collection of stories "New Banner of Victory" reflects the resistance of the Lebanese people against the attack of the Zionist regime in the 33-day war of 2006. The situation of the residents of Lebanon has been discussed in the attack of the Zionist regime on this land. Manifestations of stability, unity and struggle of people in each of the stories of this collection are the main theme of these short stories. In addition to the theme, story elements such as time, place, space, dialogue and staging are also prominent and the author has started to process the story with the help of these elements.
