Catford has tried to systematize the translation by applying specific rules and to help the translator and the audience. According to Catford's theory, the translation of the semantic style of exaggeration in the verb noun in Nahj al-Balagha will be a useful source to benefit the audience from the long concepts of this book through a descriptive-analytical method. The current study has reached the following conclusions by analyzing the semantic structure of the verb noun in the two translations of Shahidi and Foladvand; the translators in the target language have used the same Arabic verb noun in terms of structure or have used a different morphological-syntactic structure that does not reflect the concept of exaggeration correctly. In some cases, interpretive additions have also been used to reflect the concept of exaggeration; but they have not been able to convey the meaning correctly by using the existing institutions. Structurally, the translator has had to make many changes in his words in order to succeed in conveying the meaning contained in the words of the infallible. He has tried to convey the main meaning to the audience with the help of different noun and verb groups. Perhaps the presence of different adverbs of mood, emphasis, similarity, etc. could have been a solution for the translator; but in many cases, the truth has not been done.
