Abstract

Since discourse is a fluid flow and a function of a kind of semiotic-semantic presence, it analyzes the change in the semantic system of discourse from one state to another by relying on the tension structure and passing through the conditions of discursive rupture and connection. The structure of the tension pattern, which is composed of horizontal (expansion) and vertical (compression) axes, produces meaning within itself and through the correlation of these axes. On the other hand, Hazrat Zahra 3, who witnessed numerous and painful events in the days after the death of the Holy Prophet 9 and knew better than others the unfortunate consequences of the death of the Prophet 9, tried to raise awareness among the people by delivering sermons. One of the most important of them was her speech among the women of the Muhajireh and Ansar, who spoke despite the severity of their illness. The tone of this sermon is striking, painful, and sad. At the same time, it has a striking and decisive tone. Examining the discourse structure in the sermon of the visit of Hazrat Zahra 3 based on the discourse tension pattern and with the help of the analytical-applied method will be helpful in opening the words of the entire meaning of the words of the Prophet. In addition to this goal, identifying the specific tension pattern in each part of the discourse is also one of the things that this study seeks to achieve. Examining the discourse of this sermon showed that the speaker becomes an active actor in the process of dynamic and fluid meaning-making and makes meaning in a tense discourse system; therefore, Hazrat 3, with the help of a specific tension and linguistic structure, has defeated the semantic system of the authority of the covenant-breakers and has shown them to be incompetent by exposing their wrong actions, behaviors, and speeches.
