Despite the various political and economic ups and downs that the Persian Gulf has had, it has always been important; the existence of ports and the fast and cheap transit of goods, piers and commercial docks suitable for loading commercial ships during the Qajar period added to its importance and prosperity. Among its ports, the port of Bushehr became a commercial gateway during the Qajar period, and this situation led to the establishment and operation of various foreign and domestic trading houses in this port, including the Hajj Seyyed Mohammad Reza Kazeruni Trading House.
Therefore, the purpose of this research is to examine the role and operation of the Hajj Seyyed Mohammad Reza Kazeruni Trading House in Bushehr Port from 1881 to 1928. This research, using a descriptive-analytical method and using historical sources such as documents and publications, seeks to answer the question: What role did the Hajj Seyyed Mohammad Reza Kazeruni Trading House play in the commercial prosperity of Bushehr during the period under study?
The research findings show that this trading house contributed to the economic prosperity of Bushehr and the expansion of Persian Gulf trade.
