چکیده

In recent years, the general approach towards building its industrial production has shifted. This is becouse of increasing in the quality, control and speed up implementation. Lightweight steel frame building system, is one of the building systems that formed with using steel sheets in the cold state in recent decades in developed countries and developing widely used. In these structures due to a significant reduction in the weight of the building there is a lot of lateral force of the earthquake on them is reduced. In addition, Lightweight steel frame because of having the advantage such as pre-fabricated and mass production, speed of implementation, environmental considerations, and more than conventional construction, has been mention a lot. These structures have the ability to be combined with other lateral resistant systems like Moment Resisting Frame that operatoes as a dual system. LSF combined with steel frame as a dual system could reduce the construction limits like constructing stairs. In addition, proper connection between the steel frame and LSF used stiffness of steel frame can improve the seismic resistance of the structure. It is also effective in ductility of structures. Therefore, in the present study, to investigate the connection between lightweight steel frame and steel frames, with ABAQUS software modeling are discussed. Then specifications of the behavior of the connection element to SAP2000 software is introduced. Modeling carried out in SAP2000 software includes three-dimensional model, which combines elements of cold-rolled, hot-rolled and link elements several models have been studied in connection with nonlinear static analysis and evaluation of structural capacity curve of the suggested optimal connections. The results of this research, it is recommended in combinational system of LSF and steel frame in two- three- four and five story buildings, a four-point connection according to the details presented for each class to be used in each
