In this thesis, Persian Gulf University UTRS-1J has been studied. A new method of fast ?ssion factor calculation is performed. This is done by creating a new MCNP cross section library using NJOY reprocessing nuclear data ?le code. MCNP is facilitated by the speci?c library to be able to calculate fast ?ssion factor. The present results show that fast fission factor equals about 1.042.
