Abstract

In this study, some quinoline-7-amine derivatives 4 are synthesized from the reaction of ?-substituted vinamidinium salts 3 with 1,3-diaminobenzene, in the presence of acetic acid and acetonitrile as solvent (Scheme 1). In order to obtain the best experimental conditions, the synthesis of 3-bromoquinoline-7-amine 4h was carried out at neutral, acidic and basic conditions. The lowest reaction time and the best yield were obtained in acidic conditions.
