The increasing growth of the oil industry and the related industries in Iran has made hydrocarbons the first pollutants of the environment, especially in the southern regions of the country and caused serious environmental problems in these areas. Tagetes patula is one of the ornamental plants that is important in the landscape design. Currently organic amendment is an acceptable choice in order to remediate contaminated soil. In this research the effect of soil amendments has been investigated for the toxicity of soil contaminated with hydrocarbon compounds on the ornamental plant of marigold) Tagetes patula .(.For this purpose, the greenhouse experiment was conducted as a factorial based on a completely randomized design with three replications. The factors include gas condensate at five levels of zero, 7500, 15000, 30,000, 60,000 ?l pollutant per kg soil and soil amendment including vermicompost (5% w / w), biochar (2% w / w), activated carbon (1% w / w), combination of vermicompost biochar activated carbon and treatment without soil amendment was considered as control. The results of analysis of variance showed that the dual effect of condensate and soil amendment was significant on the main growth factors of vegetative, reproductive, biochemical, nutritional elements and soil heterotrophic bacteria populations . Also, the results showed that morphological factor, the content of macronutrients and chlorophyll significantly decreased and the amount of proline in the plant shoots increased significantly with increasing levels of gas condensate,While the addition of amendmen materials, especially vermicompost biochar activated carbon and activated carbon to contaminated soil, reduced the effects of gas condensate in plants and increased plant growth. Using the combination treatment of vermicompost biochar activated carbon and activated carbon treatment at the highest level of pollutant (60,000 ?l pollutant per kg soil) increased respectively by 334 and 282% of fresh
