Abstract

Tokamak is the first nuclear fusion machine that generates energy by magnetic confinement. In this system, the fusion plasma is sustained for several seconds by strong magnetic fields. The fields are toroidal and poloidal . In this project, plasma is a single fluid that has a toroidal rotation. As a result, we will obtain equilibrum equation for that by using the ideal MHD equations, Maxwell equations, fluid theory, and taking into account the initial conditions and boundary values. With a little difference from the static equilibrium case, we solve the equations. Consequently, relations are obtained for parameters related to the plasma column, and analyzes are made.
