NanosheetCaSO4:Mn havinganaveragethicknessof35nmwassynthesizedbythehydrothermal
method anditsthermoluminescence(TL)andphotoluminescence(PL)characteristicswerestudied.
Three overlappingTLglowpeakswereidentifiedinthecomplexglowcurveusingthe Tstop technique.
Activationenergiesof3.76,2.22and2.47eVandkineticordersof1.01,1.20and1.99werefoundfor
three componentglowpeaksat485,504and526K,respectively,usingacomputerizedglowcurve
deconvolutionprocedure.Anemissionspectrabandat497nmwasobservedforthesynthesized
nanosheet.Thethermoluminescencesensitivityofthepreparednanocrystallitewasfoundtobearound
eight timeshigherthanthatofLiF:Mg,Cu,P(GR-200)hot-pressedchips.Dosimetricpropertiesofthis
phosphor,includingdoseresponse,fadingandreusability,arealsopresented
