Title Multi-Walled Carbon Nanotube Localization and its Effect on Morphology of Polypropylene/Polyalphaolefin Blend Type Presentation Keywords Polypropylene, Ethylene butane copolymer, Localization, Morphology, Rheological properties Abstract The main objective of this work was to investigate the effect of multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) on the rheological and morphological properties of polypropylene (PP)/ ethylene-butene copolymer (EBC) 70/30 blend prepared by simultaneous melt blending. Based on thermodynamic calculations, MWCNTs were preferentially localized in the PP matrix. Melt linear viscoelastic experiments confirmed the homogenous dispersion of the MWCNTs in the blend nanocomposites and their localization in the PP matrix. FESEM images also confirmed this proper dispersion state of MWCNTs. Researchers Amir Rostami (First researcher) , Nariman Rajabifar (Second researcher) , Mohammad Ali Ghanavatian (Third researcher)
