Abstract Bermuda grass is one of the main turf grasses in tropical and subtropical area especially in south part of Iran. These plants are frequently subjected to various stresses, of which drought is the most common and devastating one in this area. Application of chemical materials such as paclobutrazol can reduce the water stress problem. Therefore, an experiment was conducted to study the effect of 200, 400 and 600 g/h paclobutrazol (PBZ) with three irrigation interval (1, 2 and 3 days) on the plant performance of Bermuda grass in comeplate randomize design with three replications. By increasing the amount of PBZ and irrigation interval, the amount of chlorophyll content increased. Also, the highest level of visual quality obtained in the presence of 200 g/h PBZ and with one day irrigation interval. Also, the lowest leaf area and highest root area was the result of combination of 600 g/l PBZ and 3 day irrigation interval.
