Abstract

This research investigate a review on the effective factors for the removal of copper (Cu2 ) from the
wastewater by using different nano-adsorbents. The results clearly show that it strongly depend on the PH
of the solution. Also from the different kinetics of absorbance, it can be concluded that all the nanoadsorbent
obey from the pseudo-second order model and the isotherm curve obey the Freundlich and
Langmuir isotherms. Furthermore, from the results it was obvious that the maximum amount of absorbed
copper was for the functionalized magnetic nanoparticles with different functional groups. Moreover, the
thermodynamic parameters was calculated for the nano-adsorbent.
