Abstract
|
Objectives: Newcastle disease (ND) is a major threat to poultry industry production in developing countries due to the high morbidity and mortality associated with virulent strains of the virus. Acute phase responses (APRs) are proteins whose plasma concentrations increase or decrease in response to inflammation such as Newcastle disease. Measurement of APRs is a useful marker of inflammation in veterinary clinical pathology. Materials
