Salinity is one of the major problem that affect crop production in all over the world. Strawberry plants are sensitive to salt stress and the factors influencing the growth and performance, water quality and soil is required. Phosphorus can also increase salinity tolerance, growth and yield of crop. Therefore, to evaluate the effect of salinity with phosphorus fertilizer on some reproductive characteristics of Strawberry plants was conducted at faculty of agriculture, university of the Persian Gulf. This study was carried out as factorial experiment based on a completely randomized design with 4 replications per treatment. Treatments included three salinity levels of 1.5, 3 and 4.5 dS/m, and three levels of phosphorus fertilizer 0, 40 and 80 mg/kg. In this study Camarosa strawberry cultivars were used. After planting strawberry in pots, salinity treatment from sodium chloride source and phosphorus treatment from the source of triple super phosphate fertilizer was applied. During flowering and fruit set, reproductive characteristics such as number of flowers and fruits, diameter and weight of fruit and yield per plant were measured. The results showed that with increasing sodium chloride concentration in the medium, the measured characteristics were decreased with a significant difference. But the application of phosphorus fertilizer significantly reduced the negative effects of salinity and increased reproductive characteristics strawberry.
