Abstract In this paper thermally induced entanglement between electron-nucleus spins in hydrogen atom in the presence of external magnetic field is investigated. The whole system is in thermal equilibrium with a heat reservoir thus the probabilities for finding system in either of its eigenvalues are associated with the Boltzmann distribution. Using of Hamiltonian representation in spin basis, the partially transposed density matrix and consequently, negativity as a measure of entanglement are calculated. It is shown that negativity starts from one at zero temperature and asymptotically decreases as temperature and/or magnetic field is increased.
