In recent years nitrogen-linked heterocyclic compounds such as Pyrazole derivatives have attracted attention due to their biological activities such as antibacterial, antifungal and antitumor activities. Because of their broad spectrum of biological activity, these compounds have received a great deal of attention in connection with their synthesis.
In this research project, three pyrazolinium derivatives have been synthesized (Scheme 1) by the reaction of vinamidinium salts containing substituents at ? position with phenyl hydrazine in the presence of acetonitrile. Infrared, 1H NMR, and 13C NMR confirm the molecular structure of the newly synthesized compounds.
