Abstract A simple and efficient procedure for the synthesis of some heterocycle compounds such as 1,5-diaryl-3-(arylamino)-1H-pyrrol-2(5H)-ones, 3-hydroxyoxindoles, 2-amino-3-cyanopyridines, 3-methylquinoxalin-2(1H)-one and 3,6-dimethyl-2H-benzo[b][1,4] oxazin-2-one is described. The eco-friendly, simple and green procedure, non-catalyst, solvent-free conditions, and short reaction times are the advantages of this method. Furthermore, ethyl 2,5-dihydro -2- methyl -5- oxo -1- aryl -4- (arylamino)- 1H- pyrrole-2-carboxylate compounds are synthesized via the multi-component condensation reaction. 1) 1,5-diaryl-3-(arylamino)-1H-pyrrol-2(5H)-one derivatives are synthesized via the multi-component reaction of ethyl pyruvate, aromatic or aliphatic aldehydes and aromatic amins, at 80 ?C under catalyst and solvent-free conditions.
