Keywords Rhetorical, poetries, Ali moallem
Abstract Rhetorical devices are among the most important means of beautiful speech. Perhaps, if they are not used, speech will have little literary values. These skills, depending on the variety of situations, show various manifestations of imagination, creativity and internal world of poets. Various rhetorical sciences are seen in Ali Mo'allem's poems. This thesis tries to investigate the most important rhetorical skills in his poems and identify and analaze his ability in this regard. The method of study is descriptive-analytic and the method of data collection is through the library, documents and the internet. This is done by note taking from a variety of sources related to the field. That is why the basic chapter of the thesis deals with the samples and the investigation of them, using tables and statistics. The thesis shows that the majority of (SOVAR-E-KHIAL) in his poems are of little complexity and oddness. Using novel combinations and creating situations, he is able to dissolve imagination in the skeleton of his poetry instead of making pictures and discovering novel relations. Therefore, his poetry cannot be considered unimaginary despite the fact that few images are seen in it. He shows a special ability in verbal manifestations; and these manifestations have a high frequency in his poetry. He does not pay attention only to verbal beauty. He pays attention to both form and meaning. By repeating vowels and consonants, he enriches the internal tone and music of his poetry a lot. In this way he ties his thoughts and messages firmly to the minds of his readers. Another significant principle in his poetry is paradox and its usage. Paradox is original and stylistic and of unique lingual features in his poetry. In spite of a high frequency and richness, the allusions used in his poetry are of little novelty. Equivocality as one of the most important techniques in novel imagination is of little importance in his poetry.
